Trading risk disclaimer. Nexus Trade Studio is a monitoring and analytics tool. We do not execute trades, provide investment advice, manage funds, or guarantee any trading outcome. Trading foreign exchange, CFDs, futures and other leveraged products carries a high level of risk and can result in losses that exceed your deposits. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions and for complying with the rules of any prop firm or broker you work with.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation, in which case you also refers to that organisation.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account and do not use the Service.
2. What the Service does
Nexus Trade Studio provides:
- Account monitoring. A dashboard that connects to your MetaTrader 5 trading accounts — including prop firm challenge accounts and personal accounts — through a MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor we provide. The Service reads trade data and computes real-time performance metrics (equity curve, drawdown, win rate, profit factor, etc.).
- Smart alerts. Configurable notifications on account events such as drawdown thresholds, daily-loss breaches, or disconnections.
- AI analytics (paid plans). Automated analysis of your trading patterns, risk management and consistency, delivered as human-readable reports.
- EA Marketplace. A platform where independent developers can publish Expert Advisors for MetaTrader 5. Users can subscribe to an EA licence and use it on their own trading accounts.
The Service does not place orders on your behalf, does not hold your funds, and does not act as a broker, prop firm, or investment adviser. Your capital remains at your broker or prop firm at all times.
3. Your account
Creating an account
You create an account using an email address and password, or via a supported third-party identity provider (e.g. Google). You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for any activity under your account. Notify us at security@nexustradestudio.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
Account tiers
The Service offers different plans (Free, Pro, Premium and any future plan we introduce). The features and limits of each plan are listed on our Pricing page. We may change plan features, limits or prices with reasonable notice (at least 30 days for existing paying subscribers).
User roles
- Standard users monitor their own trading accounts and may subscribe to EAs from the marketplace.
- Developers are standard users who have been approved to publish EAs on the marketplace. Developers receive payouts according to the revenue-share terms below.
- Administrators are Nexus Trade staff with elevated access for support, moderation and billing operations.
4. Subscriptions, billing and taxes
Paid plans
Paid plans are charged through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for the applicable plan fee on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly, as selected) until you cancel.
Prices and taxes
Prices are displayed in euros (EUR) and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. Applicable VAT is determined by your location and added at checkout where required by law. You are responsible for any other taxes, duties or withholdings imposed by your local authority.
Renewals, upgrades, downgrades
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle at the then-current rate. You can upgrade at any time; we prorate the charge for the remainder of the cycle. You can downgrade effective at the next cycle, with a 7-day grace period on multi-account features already in use (see our Pricing page).
Failed payments
If a payment fails, we will notify you by email and retry through Stripe's standard dunning sequence. If payment cannot be collected within 7 days, we may downgrade your account to the Free plan. Your data is preserved; only premium features are limited.
Refunds
Our refund practice is described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
5. EA Marketplace
Subscribing to an EA
When you subscribe to an EA from the marketplace, you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use that EA on the trading accounts you declare during setup, for the duration of the paid subscription. The EA may be cryptographically locked to those specific accounts.
EA is third-party software
EAs on the marketplace are produced by independent developers, not by Nexus Trade. We review submissions for basic quality and safety criteria before approving them (see our developer documentation), but we do not warrant or endorse the trading strategy, historical performance, or profitability of any EA. You use EAs at your own risk.
Disputes about an EA
If you believe a published EA malfunctions or misrepresents itself (for example, it claims win rates that don't match its actual behaviour), contact us at support@nexustradestudio.com. We may investigate, contact the developer, remove the EA, or issue partial refunds where we judge it warranted. Our decision is final but does not affect any legal remedies you may have against the developer directly.
6. Developer terms (for EA publishers)
If you publish an EA on the marketplace, the following additional terms apply.
Ownership and licence to Nexus Trade
You retain ownership of your EA and associated materials (logo, description, version history). By submitting an EA to the marketplace, you grant Nexus Trade a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, distribute, market and transmit your EA to end users for the purposes of operating the marketplace.
Revenue share
The standard revenue share is 70% to the developer and 30% to Nexus Trade on net revenue (after payment processor fees and any refunds). Specific commission rates may be adjusted with your consent (e.g. featured placements, bundles). Payouts are issued monthly via Stripe Connect, subject to a minimum payout threshold of €50.
Content standards
Your EA and its description must not:
- Infringe on third-party intellectual property (code, strategies that require a licence, trademarked names).
- Contain malicious code, backdoors, exfiltration of trading credentials, or hidden behaviour that differs from what is advertised.
- Include false or misleading performance claims. Backtest results must be clearly labelled as such.
- Target prop firm rules in a way that facilitates obvious rule-breaking (e.g. toggling off risk controls on detection of an evaluation period).
Suspension and removal
We may suspend or remove any EA that violates these standards, receives a sustained pattern of user complaints, or causes reputational harm to the Service. Where possible we notify the developer and allow time to fix the issue before removal.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
- Use the Service to launch attacks against third parties (e.g. scraping prop firm websites at scale, abuse of broker APIs through the Service).
- Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or usage quotas.
- Share your account credentials with third parties, or operate a single account on behalf of multiple unrelated users.
- Submit false information during signup or when adding trading accounts.
- Use the Service in connection with illegal activity, including sanctioned jurisdictions, money laundering, or market manipulation.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its code, design, logos, documentation and content produced by us (but excluding EAs published by third-party developers and content you submit), is owned by Nexus Trade and protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose under these Terms.
You retain ownership of the data you submit to the Service, including your trading history, account metadata, and any content you upload (e.g. profile information, EA listings if you are a developer). By submitting content, you grant us a licence to host, process and display it as necessary to operate the Service.
9. Third-party services
The Service integrates with or depends on third-party services, including:
- Stripe (payments and payouts — Stripe's terms).
- MetaQuotes / MetaTrader 5 (the trading platform the EA connects to — subject to MetaQuotes' own terms and your broker's terms).
- Supabase (authentication and data storage).
- Vercel, Hostinger, Cloudflare (hosting and infrastructure).
We are not responsible for the availability, performance or terms of these third parties. Outages or policy changes on their side may affect the Service, and we will communicate significant impacts on our [PLACEHOLDER: Status page URL — e.g. status.nexustradestudio.com] once operational.
10. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for scheduled maintenance, upgrades, or unforeseen incidents. We may add, modify or remove features at any time, with reasonable notice for material changes affecting paying subscribers.
11. Suspension and termination
By you
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or through the Stripe customer portal. Your paid access remains active until the end of the current billing period; after that your account reverts to the Free plan. You may also delete your account entirely, which triggers the data-deletion process described in our Privacy Policy.
By us
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You materially breach these Terms and do not cure the breach within 14 days of our notice.
- We detect fraud, chargeback abuse, or illegal activity.
- Your use of the Service poses a security risk to other users or to our infrastructure.
- We are required to do so by law or court order.
In cases of immediate risk (security incident, active fraud), we may suspend access without prior notice and notify you afterwards.
12. Warranties and disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
- Any metric, alert, or AI-generated analysis is accurate, complete, or fit for your particular trading decisions.
- EAs on the marketplace will produce any specific trading outcome.
- The Service is compatible with every prop firm's rules or every broker's API.
Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You must make your own decisions and, where appropriate, consult a licensed professional.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nexus Trade's total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) €100 or (b) the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Under no circumstances will we be liable for:
- Trading losses, missed opportunities, or profits you expected to earn.
- Failure of a prop firm challenge, loss of funding, or breach of prop firm rules.
- Loss of goodwill, data, or business.
- Indirect, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory applicable law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, and fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation).
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Nexus Trade harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your violation of applicable law or third-party rights, or (c) your use of the Service in ways not authorised by these Terms. This obligation survives termination of your account.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email and give you at least 30 days' notice before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept the changes, you may terminate your account before the effective date.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [PLACEHOLDER: Jurisdiction — e.g. France], without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [PLACEHOLDER: Court location — e.g. Paris, France], except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
Before bringing a dispute to court, we encourage you to contact us at legal@nexustradestudio.com to attempt an amicable resolution. If you are an EU consumer, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
17. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Nexus Trade regarding the Service.
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to reasonable notice.
- No agency. Nothing in these Terms creates an agency, partnership, joint venture or employment relationship between you and us.
